Early Life
Born on May 13, 1993, in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, she rose to fame as a gravure idol and later as a JAV actress. Takahashi Shoko came from a relatively wealthy family, however her parents divorced when she was in her first year of high school. This completely changed her life.
Shoko Takahashi had to attend school full-time and work part-time jobs. This inspired her to pursue a career in entertainment. She was very good in studies due to which she was able to establish herself well in the entertainment industry.
During her school years, she looked quite ordinary, even her breasts were unattractive. However, by her second year of middle school, her breasts gradually began to grow.
Career as a Gravure Idol
After watching SKE48 perform on the “24 Hour Television” show, Shoko decided to become an idol. She then began auditioning, but failed in the SKE48 second generation auditions. In 2012, she began performing as a member of the maid idol unit Morister at the Morikoro Park Summer Festival. While active in the idol industry, Shoko also worked part-time at the idol cafes A.icafe and Maid Cafe Mori, both located in Osu.
Shoko began her gravure career in June 2013, appearing in various national sports newspapers. n 2013, she was awarded Best Newcomer at the Professional’s Choice Idol DVD Awards. She was also highly ranked in gravure idol listings. She has been featured in numerous famous magazine pictorials as a model.
Transition to the JAV Industry
In 2016, Shoko decided to make a comeback under the name Takahashi Shoko, and she appeared semi-nude for the first time in the double issue of Golden Week. Her JAV debut was through the gravure Four Heavenly Kings Takashō Muteki Debut Takahashi Shōko, which was a huge success. Her first movie role was with Shimiken, for which she received critical acclaim. She also served as an I-BEAT Girl for AV OPEN from 2017 to 2020.
Retirement from JAV
In April 2022, Shoko announced her retirement from the JAV industry after celebrating her fifth anniversary in the entertainment field. After retiring, she joined Lister Productions as a guitarist and model.
