It is not surprising to hear that there are many Korean Idols who are very poor. Even after debuting, they do not have enough money to take acting training. That is why some idols join the AV industry to make ends meet and fulfill their dreams.
Korean Idol has received negative attention due to some of the jobs that Korean Idols have done before and after their idol careers. These non-ideal careers were considered controversial.
However, there is no denying that a career as an AV actress can be quite lucrative. It requires just as much hard work as it takes to become an idol. But not everyone decides to become an AV actress.
Honey Popcorn
The three-member girl group Honey Popcorn debuted in the year 2018. However, their debut was controversial as all the members worked as actresses in adult films. Due to which, I had to face a lot of problems in my career, but all the members of this group have experience of working in different fields.
BaBa’s Seungha
Seungha is a famous South Korean singer and ex-member of the K-pop girl group BaBa. After spending a short time as a member of BaBa, Seungha turned to AV actress, she worked in more then 40 videos in less then three months.
Yua Mikami
Yua Mikami initially started her career as idol, debuting as a member of J-pop group SKE48. She later graduated from the group in 2014 and set her sights on the AV industry in 2015. She shocked the world when she joined the AV industry. However, she returned to the idol industry in 2018 by debuting with the Korean girl group Honey Popcorn.
Kominato Yotsuha
Kominato Yotsuha is a former member of the J-pop group Fairies. Following her disbandment from the group, she retired from the entertainment industry in 2020. But she returned in 2022 with her current name Kominato Yotsuha. After which she started working in the AV industry. She said she wanted to do something she had never done before.
Nature‘s Haru
Haru was revealed as a member of NATURE on June 25, 2018 and made her official debut with the release of the single album “Girls and Flowers”. Prior to this, she was working as a host at a bar. Shortly after Haru’s initial video of her new work began airing, she quit her job and began working as a full-time idol.
